What the hell is a kit of parts?
I bought an AK-47 some time ago. It is a preban, Romanian, who came with 2x 30 mags Tour 100 NSOR ammunition, lifetime warranty blah blah blah for $ 400. Then a few generic amoxil months later, I saw the ad in a magazine for a kit of parts with the same gun for about $ 200 (minus receiver). I have just sprayed it with my business or what? What a parts kit? Is this kit parts that I need to go buy a receiver and put it together or is it just what the title says, and spare parts for my gun? By federal law, a receiver is a firearm. The kit "parts" that you have seen is anything but a receiver, and is therefore not a firearm. If you purchased a kit of parts with intends to build a complete weapon, then you have to pay even more for a receiver.
