Would-ionized water can ruin a fuel cell?
I experience a fuel cell kit. The instructions specify that distilled water should be used with it. I think it is because of mineral deposits that are made with other water. Here in Ireland, it is difficult to find distilled water. The auto parts supply store deionized water. Supply Pharmacy purified water. I can not find anyone who sells distilled water. I do not want to ruin the fuel cell. The test kit is made by Thames & Kosmos. The PEM fuel cell type is reversible. (Proton Exchange Membrane). Being reversible it produces amoxil online oxygen and hydrogen when electricity is supplied to it. This phase of operation that could damage if the wrong type of water has used. The electricity, of course, is produced by a solar panel.
distilled water only removes dissolved salts (if the majority of the impurities in the water). It does not remove dissolved or suspended organic compounds, gases, etc. For a DIY kit, I doubt it will be a big difference, I expect that part of the electrolysis of your experience could have accumulated after a while, but the quantities minute will not affect you too badly. your mileage may vary, however.
